The Khmer Rouge's brutal regime had a devastating impact on Cambodia's education system. The regime sought to eliminate all forms of intellectualism and education, leading to the closure of schools, universities, and the execution of educators. This resulted in the loss of a generation of educated individuals and a severe setback to the country's development.

 

However, Cambodia holds immense potential and has made incredible progress over the past several years. By supporting education in Cambodia, we can empower these students to not only restore what was lost but also drive forward progress.
