Who Are We?
Our Mission
Water Droplet's core mission is to empower students and teachers in Cambodia using English audiobooks and technology to ignite a passion for learning and create a brighter future in Cambodian ESL classrooms.
What We Do
Water Droplet began in August 2022 as a passion project by Jessie Jin. Through fundraising efforts and collaborating with CFC, she aimed to improve ESL classrooms in Cambodia by providing technology and English children's books, which she then transformed into accessible audiobooks. While visiting ESL classrooms in Cambodia, Jessie donated the technology and audiobooks (along with the physical books). She also connected with the ESL team, which marked the beginning of our organization. Since then, our team has broadened its collection of audiobooks and we are currently working towards establishing a Water Droplet ESL office within CFC's upcoming education center.

Our Goals
Our primary objective is to provide English audiobooks and high-quality technology to enhance our ESL classrooms. In order to achieve this, we are dedicated to delivering the best learning experience for our students with a set of specific goals for this year:
Goal 1: Improve Speaking Skills
We aim for at least 80% of ESL students to demonstrate proficiency in speaking English by the end of the pilot curriculum at the end of the year.
Goal 2: Enhance Listening Skills
Our target is to have at least 80% of students proficient in listening to English by the end of the pilot curriculum at the end of the year.
Goal 3: Develop Writing Skills
We strive for at least 80% of ESL students to possess excellent writing skills in English by the end of the pilot curriculum at the end of the year.
Goal 4: Foster Reading Skills
We aim for at least 80% of ESL students to be proficient in reading English by the end of the pilot curriculum at the end of the year.
Goal 5: Implement Technology Skills
At least 80% of students will gain a solid foundation in technology skills by the end of the pilot curriculum at the end of the year.

Why ESL?
English as a Second Language programs play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning skills of Cambodian students, providing opportunities to practice such skills in real-life situations, and improving their abilities to engage with the globalized world. CFC's ESL program has been highly successful in these areas and made an incredible impact on students and educators.
What Technology?
Water Droplet provides ESL classrooms with tablets and smart TVs to best support both students and teachers. Teachers are able to use smart TVs to present various materials while our audiobooks are easily accessible through tablets.
